Renewal or prolongation the EU type examination certificate

Procedure of renewal or prolongation the validity of the EU type examination certificate is similar to the assessment procedure. This procedure is called the EU Type Certificate review. The manufacturer or his authorised representative should send to the NB 6months before the validity date an application together with the technical files which will be reviewed by assessors.

 In the case of revision the harmonized standards, the product should be adjusted to the actual requirements and relevant laboratory tests if necessary need to be carried out.

The EC type examination certificates and approval decisions based on the Council Directive 89/686 / EEC are valid until 21 April 2023 at latest, unless their validity expires before that date or the technical requirements will be revised.
