End of the transition period

ITT CERTEX kindly inform all our customers as well as producers and distributors of personal protective equipment who are not yet but - we hope in the near future - will be our customers that in accordance with Article 47 point 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on personal protective equipment and repealing Council Directive 89/686/EEC (Text with EEA relevance) EC type-examination certificates and approval decisions issued under Directive 89/686/EEC shall remain valid until 21 April 2023 unless they expire before that date.

To confirm compliance with the applicable essential health and safety requirements contained in the above-mentioned Regulation, Annex II, we invite you to apply to the Notified Body ITT CERTEX (No. 2534) in order to conduct the conformity assessment procedure according to module B and, consequently, obtain the EU-type examination certificate.
